My passion for both digital and physical product design led me to study Product Design in the Netherlands and at Art Center College of Design in the U.S. My work has been featured worldwide, including in publications like Dezeen, Wallpaper, De Ingenieur, and TNN Thailand. Professionally, I’ve worked across a diverse range of activities, including design agencies, founding software and edtech startups, and developing a climate-tech machine for growing insects as an alternative protein source (regenerative food systems). My experience also encompasses leading startups, innovating in and teaching VR, and consulting early-stage startups on product development. I’ve developed both physical and digital products, from apps and machines to footwear design, leveraging technologies such as additive manufacturing and Gravity Sketch. With experience in six countries, including Spain and Costa Rica, I bring a broad international perspective. Recently, I participated in the Philips Innovation Award, the largest startup competition in the Netherlands and won the James Dyson Award NL.&nbsp; As an entrepreneur, I launched my first venture at 17—a platform to support young creatives—and have since developed Crikorama, a cricket-growing machine as alternative portein source and Nebula, a fog collector that uses 3D printing and biomimicry to capture up to 1 liter of water per day from fog. Microgreens. Microgreens are young vegetable greens that are approximately 2.5– 7.5 cm tall. You can harvest them after a few days, and they are edible. Most microgreens have higher levels of nutrients than their mature counterparts. Microlarity is scalable, and it is placeable in different contexts. It needs no electricity, no soil and little amount of sun to grow your microgreens︎.The only resource you need is water and seeds. Microlarity aims to improve the harvesting of Microgreens to help the farmers to have a more constant income all over the year. A lot of farmers are confronted with a decrease of their income during the winter. As a designer I believe that we should propose interesting solutions or alterna- tives to the farmers. Low fuss, high yield crop with a quick turnaround time! The aim is to implement this alternative agriculture at the LTC (low tech campus) and why not in other spaces? Why could we not implement Microlarity in diverses spaces? from fog and collect it in a bottle for drinking water and other uses. It has three layers of mesh that maximize the ability to capture water droplets from the air. The fog collector also has a modular design, allowing multiple units to be connected together with snap-fits that can then be attached to various surfaces using carabiners. The inner layers of mesh allow the fog droplets to collect into small rivulets that then drain downwards into a collecting bottle at the bottom of the unit. The modular design means that multiple fog collectors can be connected to scale up the amount of fog being collected and the total volume of water produced. The snap-fits and carabiners allow the fog collectors to be mounted on fences, trees, vehicles, backpacks, and more, providing a portable and flexible fog collection system. The fog collector is able to produce potable water in moisture-rich but water-poor environments where fog is present. It provides a sustainable source of water by taking advantage from the abundant water present in fog.
